December 13, 2016 – AAHC gathered at Karen Krumm's Studio for a holiday potluck and Art Supply Swap.
November 15, 2016 – AAHC gathered for a social and metal jewelry demo by Jan Fitzhugh. Artists learned about etching and enameling.
October 25, 2016 – AAHC visits Nina Mihn's Studio. Nina showed us various mixed media technics and materials.
August 23, 2016 – AAHC gathered for a social and presentation by Mara Cardwell on Juried Art Shows: Prepare, Apply and Display.
June 28, 2016 – AAHC members had a potluck dinner, socialized and planned for the upcoming year.
May 14-15, 2016 – AAHC Third Annual "Tour The Talent" Studio Tour went well. 30 Artists and 7 Studio Stops in the Dripping Springs area.
May 24, 2016 – AAHC enjoyed a pottery demo by Bridget Hauser at Sunset Canyon Pottery.
April 26, 2016 – AAHC learned about and demoed new materials on the market. Presentation was done by Lisa of Asel Art Supply.
March 29, 2016 – AAHC had their first F.A.T. Show and Share (FAT meaning Favorite Art Things). Artists shared informative web links, insprirational books, their art, unique tools, and helpful processes and practices that challenge them to think "outside of the box."
February 23, 2016 – AAHC saw a Demo by Dawn Delgado on Metal Repousé. This was well attended and inspirational.
January 26, 2016 – Attorney, John Absher informed AAHC about enforcing rights of artists, copyrights and other people lifting artists' work and answered questions.
December 15, 2015 – AAHC had their Christmas Potluck and Art Supply Swap at the Finley’s Home. Lots of food and fun!
October 27, 2015 – AAHC gathered at Linda Babboni's barndomonium for a social and presentation on her suggested adhesives, paints and supplies used when creating her clever creations from recycled materials. Linda has an interior designer background and is an extensive researcher who tests her materials to make sure they last and are safe for the public. She demoed how you make a sheet of steel look rusted and weathered with acrylic paint, rubber cement and sand. A captivating night!
October 10, 2015 – AAHC took a tour at the Harry Ransom Center in Austin and saw Frank Reaugh's work. We also saw the Gutenberg Bible and a Remington's work.
October 1, 2015 – Some AAHC members and friends gathered at The Barn to paint and create for much of the day. Many artists enjoyed talking with artists about their work, process, supplies, techniques and styles. Many artists problem solved with others, when they were stumped.
August 25, 2015 – AAHC socialized and learned how to marbleize paper with Citra Solv by Deena O’Daniel. Then they learned how to create acrylic image transfers by Susan Manzello. It was an exciting night.
July 28, 2015 – Artists shared and talked about their art at Instant Gallery night. Great night for all!
June 23, 2015 – Great night of socializing, group input for AAHC's future, after reviewing and analyzing the past two and a half years.
May 26, 2015 – Cancelled due to the flooding rains.
April 28, 2015 – AAHC went to Sandra Bartosh's studio and learned about airbrushing on fabric. Everyone had an opportunity to try! Although Sandra made it look easy, those that tried found airbrushing a bit tricky, realizing it would take practice and time to master!
April 11-12, 2015 – AAHC Second Annual "Tour The Talent" Studio Tour was a success! 6 studios and 30+ artists in the Dripping Springs area.Threats of rain kept a few away, but it was a good turnout otherwise. Blankets of Bluebonnets covered much of the hill country drive!
March 24, 2015 – AAHC visited Daryl Howard’s studio and heard her captivating story of her journey marketing her art and making it as an successful artist. An empowering night!
March 6, 2015 – AAHC took an outing to The People's Gallery at City Hall in Austin. We looked through three floors a fabulous art and sculptuture by local talent!
February 24, 2015 – AAHC met at The Barn to hear an informative presentation by Mara Cardwell on the Basics: "Wall Art Shows and Sales".
January 27, 2015 – AAHC met at The Barn their "Instant Gallery" and biggest attendance. Artists,with their variety of styles and mediums, memorized us!
December 16, 2014 – AAHC went to Mary Clarkson's artsy 3 Dawg Nite Bed and Breakfast for an Art Supply Trade, Potluck Christmas Party. AAHC took a tour through the B&B filled with whimsical art and bold colors. It was a night of warm hugs, good food, conversation and laughter!
November 18, 2014 – AAHC visited Wesley Gallery, where renowned artist, Roberta Wesley, spoke about her journey in marketing, printing and selling her work to the corporate and retail market. Thank you, Roberta for sharing your journey!
September 23, 2014 – AAHC visited Zena Howe's Copper Roof Studios and home in Johnson City. Zena, a painter, medalist and sculptor, gave us a tour and stone carving demo. Recycled sculptures were displayed throughout the property. Each room had Zena's creative touch and personal design. An evening to remember!
September 6, 2014 – AAHC's first Plein Air outing at Pedernales State Park.
August 26, 2014 – Inspirational AAHC Gathering – Instant Gallery Night! Artists shared and talked about their work and their process. What an array of talent!
July 22, 2014 – AAHC met at The Barn for a fascinating Alcohol Inks demo by Mary Barton. Everyone had a chance to play with the inks. Thank you, Mary!
June 21, 2014 – AAHC goes to Wimberley Glassworks to walk thru their gallery of custom blown glass vases, lights and platters and to watch glassblowers create a swirled layered color glass platter. The demo series (below) looks like they are creating several different piece, but it is just one glass piece with layers of colors! The glass starts red, then blue, white, back to swirls of red and ends green. Amazing! After, some participants made time to connect and have a delicious lunch at The Leaning Pear.

May 17-18, 2014 – "TOUR THE TALENT" Studio Tour –This first annual hill country art tour was a success with 10 studio stops and 23 artists.
May 10, 2014 – AAHC at Wesley's Gallery Art Encounter, an event introducing art groups to the community.

February 1, 2014 – AAHC took a excursion to the Benini Studio and Sculpture Ranch. Benini, himself, visited us a while and took us back into his warehouse, library and studio. We were overwhelmed with inspiration!

September 24, 2013 – AAHC Gathering at The Barn. Rae Dollard did an encaustic demo and we all got a chance to create our own encaustic piece on Japanese paper! Thank you Rae!
September 14, 2013 – Dripping With Taste Wine Food and Arts Festival – AAHC partnered with the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce in their Dripping With Taste Wine, Food and Arts Festival. AAHC incorporated art into the event and did their first juried art show. We looked awesome!
August 27, 2013 – AAHC visited at Kathleen Marie's inspiring studio and gallery. Twenty-two artists came to socialize and watch Kathleen's pyrographic demo. Another great time had by all!
July 23, 2013 – "Instant Gallery" at The Barn. Nineteen artists came with wow-ing works. Presentation photos were taken by Phyllis Rummel. Artists presenting from left to right are Larry Alford, Pam Emmons, Irma Gros, Cathy Jones, Ashley Whittenberger (Susan Manzello assisting), Georgiana Chenanlt, Steven Green and Kathleen Marie.
June 25, 2013 – First AAHC Studio Visit at mixed media artist, Lee Anne Ghilain's place. Great turn out! Lee Anne showed us her art, cleverly organized studio and a demonstration with metals.
May 11, 2013 – Meet The Art Groups event at Wesley Gallery in Dripping Springs, Texas.The community and artists came to connect and get information on the various art groups in the area. Along with AAHC, Austin Fiber Artists, Photographers of Dripping Springs, Texas Basket Weavers Association, Central Texas Gourd Patch Artists, Weavers & Spinners Society of Austin, Hill Country Sculptors were there. We were even entertained by belly dancers from San Marcos.
